We ride past the vast Pranburi Dam, its waters glistening like a mirror beneath the sun, before pressing on toward the remote borderlands where displaced Khmer people from Myanmar live in a rugged no man’s land. In the heart of this forgotten frontier, we pause for a rustic lunch at a humble Thai outback restaurant, before the ride takes us further into the untamed wilderness of Kaeng Krachan National Park. Forest tracks, gravel roads, and rolling hills guide us to the mighty Kaeng Krachan Dam — a place of breathtaking views and raw, unforgettable freedom.
